A major road through Chessington which was destroyed by ice, snow and traffic will be ripped up in August.
It is expected to take until October to repair Garrison Lane, which runs past Chessington Community College and Chessington South station.
A new scheme to slow down traffic and keep parking spaces on the road is being developed by Kingston Council.
Plans are due to go on show at Kingston Council’s south of the borough neighbourhood committee meeting on Wednesday, June 23.
They were also shown to residents at St Mary’s Centre and Chessington Community College in May and include repairs on a small part of Church Lane between the British Legion and Garrison Lane.
