New Malden's Mel South was bundled out of Wimbledon in quick fashion on Monday, comfortably beaten by Russian Regina Kulikova.
South was seen off 6-1, 6-2 in just an hour on Court No.5.
With both knees heavily taped, South struggled from the off and rarely got going.
Although she did flicker into life in the second set, it was too little, too late for the British hope.
