The 52-year-old man accused of carrying out a string of sex attacks on the elderly over a 17-year period has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Delroy Grant from Brockley appeared at the Old Bailey this afternoon.
He denied carrying out three rapes, one attempted rape, seven indecent assaults, 16 burglaries and two attempted burglaries.
The charges relate to attacks carried out between 1992 and 2009 on elderly men and women. The police mounted a massive manhunt for a man dubbed “the nightstalker”.
The attacks took place across South London, including in Shirley, Addiscombe and Warlingham.
Grant has been remanded in custody, his trial is due to take place on March 1, 2011 at Woolwich Crown Court.
