Croydon College’s best learner has won an award.
Student Marie Manzeka was presented the Best Learner Award for her achievements at a ceremony at the House of Lords on May 20.
Lord Graham Tope hosted the annual ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of learners across South London.
The mature student, who is studying a Level 3 Diploma in Child Care, said: “I feel so proud to be presented for the Best Learner Award. I feel as if all my hard work is paying off.
“I had my tutor, the deputy principal and my partner all supporting me, it was a great day.”
