A youth production company will entertain audiences at the Riverhouse Barn in Manor Road, Walton, with a story told entirely through action and music.
Actors in the Monkey Theatre group will stay silent throughout their performance of comedy Wedding Belles, partly relying on the masks they have created to portray the characters.
Monkey Theatre director, Jo Humphries, said the 13 to 15-year-olds performing were made to find new ways of expressing themselves on stage.
She said: “Mask acting is like other forms of acting in that it requires you to be truthful, but how you express this truth is different when you don’t have a voice.”
The play will be performed from Thursday, July 1, to Saturday, July 3, at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children and can be bought by calling 01932 253354.
