Experienced Scotsman George Burley has been announced as Crystal Palace's new manager.
Dougie Freedman, who assisted caretaker boss Paul Hart as he masterminded the Eagles' successful battle to avoid relegation from the Championship, will stay on as the former Scotland chief's number two.
