A biking event on June 19 will bring together people from all communities, in an attempt to promote to the black and ethnic minority community the benefits of cycling.
Bike Across Cultures is an annual event and is Kingston Race and Equalities Council’s contribution to bike week, along with Ethnic Minorities Advocacy Group, in Richmond.
The event will start at Richmond Park’s Kingston gate at 11am and those who have their own bikes are encouraged to bring their own.
It is a free event and bicycles of different sizes will be provided for those without.
There will be a picnic area, face painting, Indian head massage and henna tattoos.
