George Burley is expected to be named Crystal Palace manager this afternoon.
The former Scotland boss has beaten off competition from Chris Coleman, Paul Hart and Dougie Freedman to land the role and will be unveiled at a press conference at 3.30pm.
Burley has been out of work since being sacked as Scotland manager in November after winning just three of his 14 games in charge.
He took Ipswich Town to the Premier League in 2000 and guided them to UEFA Cup qualification in his first season in the top flight before being relegated the season after.
He has also managed Ayr United, Colchester United, Derby County and Southampton.
