A new campaign to help businesses beat the recession through increased corporate responsibility has been launched by the Croydon Economic Development Company.

The ‘Seeds of Change’ exhibition will feature a week of drop in surgeries at Croydon Visitor Centre designed to help firms find out about the free support on offer and what other companies have achieved.

Debbie Clement from CEDC’s environmental wing Envibe said: “The message that needs to be communicated to all businesses is that better environmental practice will make a tangible impact on returns.

“Changing the way we approach the day to day running of our businesses doesn’t have to be painful, and should in fact be a profitable experience.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming a wide range of local businesses into the Croydon Visitor Centre to talk about how they can improve their efficiency in the year ahead.”

The exhibition will run at the centre between June 21 and 25, from 9am to 5pm.
