Road re-opened after derelict shop fire causes traffic chaos PIC sent in by bus driver Jason Grima
Surbiton Road has been re-opened after a derelict shop basement caught fire this morning.
Kingston fire brigade was called at 12.18pm to reports of smoke billowing from the basement of D'Solo and sent four engines and about 20 firefighters.
Police closed off Surbiton Road for about two hours, diverting traffic along Portsmouth Road.
Firefighters do not yet know what caused the blaze.
