Staines Town’s pre-season campaign will kick off against League Two side Lincoln City, writes Stuart Moore.
Former Blackburn Rovers and Chelsea striker Chris Sutton will bring the Imps to Wheatsheaf Park on Saturday, July 10.
It will be the first meeting between the sides and is part of a three-match tour for Lincoln which also features fixtures at Walton Casuals and Bishop’s Stortford.
Staines’ pre-season fixtures: July 10 Lincoln City (h), 13 Brentford (h), 17-18 Geoff Harvey Memorial tournament at Corinthian Casuals, 24 Dagenham & Redbridge (h), 31 Ashford Town Middx (a). August 3: North Greenford United (a), 7 Met Police (a).
