Renowned British artist Brendan Neiland has donated one of his limited edition prints to the Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge, in the hope it can be auctioned off to raise money.

PR guru Max Clifford, who is the patron of the office, will attend the Globe Gallery in Weybridge tonight to accept the generous gift.

Mr Neiland is showcasing his work at the gallery in Church Street in a free two-week exhibition starting on Saturday, June 4, and wanted to mark the beginning of the show by helping out a local charity.

The gallery’s co-director, Joseph Peischl, said: "The gallery firmly believes in the ability of art to raise funds for charity while providing an excellent opportunity for a collector or beginning collector and we intend this to be an ongoing event.

"Our hope is this print will raise a lot of money for the hospice when it is auctioned."
