Kingston Hospital has been named one of the top 40 hospitals in the country for the 10th year running.
The hospital award was based on 21 categories, including patients’ experiences and quality of care and was given by CHKS, part of the Capita group, at a ceremony on May 12.
Kate Grimes, chief executive, said: "This is great news for the hospital.
"To be one of just five trusts to receive this award consistently over a 10 year period speaks volumes about the staff here at the hospital and the services the hospital offers."
The hospital also came second in the data quality category, with its team of clinical coders inputting the work carried out, vital to ensure they get paid for every operation.
