Schoolchildren got a taste of art in the park at an exhibition of cutting edge sculpture in Wimbledon.
The annual summer exhibition of work by students at the Wimbledon College of Art returned to Cannizaro Park last week.
Park 10 showcased the work of about 30 artists from Wimbledon and nearby Camberwell College of Art.
The event, which has been running since the 1970s, took place from May 7 to 10 - with schoolchildren from Merton’s primary schools enjoying a guided tour of the exhibition, including activities hosted by the sculptors themselves, on the event’s final day.
Park 10 was one of a series of degree shows presenting work by the college’s final year students. For more information about the degree shows visit wimbledon.arts.ac.uk/summershows2010.htm.
