A collision between a car and a deer on the A3 near Esher caused long delays to traffic during the morning rush hour on Thursday, May 20.
Nobody was hurt in the crash, which seriously damaged the front of a red Mitsubishi Colt and closed the southbound carriageway for a brief period.
Police were called at 8am, and reopened the road one hour later after removing the car from the scene. The ambulance service was not called.
The condition of the deer, which ran from the scene, was unknown.
