An annual peace concert will be held at Battersea Arts Centre next month to protest against teenage gang culture and violence.

Organisers expect more than 700 young people and their families at the event, held between 3pm and 10pm on Friday, June 25.

Speakers attending will include former gang member Chris Preddie, shooting survivor Okiemute Akpogheneta, police Chief Inspector Tim Harding and new Battersea MP Jane Ellison.

The concert, hosted and run by the Battersea community organisation Storm Empowerment, is now in its fifth year.
