A 22-year-old is on the verge of scouring the globe hunting for untouched travel hotspots thanks to a student travel company.

Matthew Martin has made it to the last ten of a nationwide search to find a pair of interns to scour the world for hidden gems and random facts about new holiday destinations.

If he is successful Mr Martin, from Kenley, will begin collecting information from his worldwide work experience in June.

The trip will see the lucky interns travel through South East Asia, Australia and the USA producing video footage and documenting their visits.

Mr Martin said: “I’m really excited to have made it this far and it would be amazing to be selected.

“It’s the job of a lifetime, which would not only give me great life experience but would also boost my CV and stand me in good stead to find a permanent job on my return.”
