Two founding members of Irish folk act Last Night’s Fun will play the Ram Folk Club in Thames Ditton on Friday, April 30.
Chris Sherburn, who plays the concertina, and Denny Bartley, who sings and plays the guitar, will plug their new album Lucy Wan.
The duo have been playing together in one guise or another, since meeting at a session in the early 1990s and have played at the club before with Last Night’s Fun.
A spokesman for the Ram said: “This pair have lost none of their capacity to assault your aural senses with the best in Irish-based music, soul-stirring songs and exhilarating tunes.
“This gig will be acoustic convulsive therapy at its most beneficial.”
The event takes place at The Old Cranleighan Club in Portsmouth Road and starts at 8pm.
Tickets cost £9 or £8 for members.
