A man in his 20s was left with severe head injuries after a fight in Epsom High Street.

The incident took place in the High Street at about 1.40am on Saturday, April 10, between a group of three men and another group of five men outside Wilkinsons.

A verbal argument started between the groups and one man was left with head injuries.

The 21-year-old was taken to St Helier Hospital, Carshalton, and was later transferred to Atkinson Morley intensive care unit.

“The group of men, including the suspect, were seen running towards Ashley Road and Waterloo Road and may have gone into a pub or club in the town.

“I would urge anyone who was in the High Street in Epsom in the early hours of April 10 and saw the argument between these two groups of men, or saw them entering another premises after 1.50am – or if anyone thinks they know who the suspect is – to come forward with information.”
