Fashionistas will be heading to Croydon for trendy ideas at this year's fashion festival.

Centrale and the Whitgift shopping centres in Croydon will be alive with style with a series of events over the weekend.

Take to the red carpet in Centrale on Saturday for live demonstrations, professional image consultants and mini-makeovers.

The Whitgift Square will play host to street dancers, free runners and skaters in cutting edge live fashion shows.

On Sunday the borough’s top dance groups will perform in Whitgift square, including Croydon College Dance Group; Peridot, a local all-male group and Love 2 Dance, a group of talented local young people performing the latest street dance.

Centrale's Atrium will play host to a series of themed catwalks to inspire your summer wardrobe.

Vote on your favourite charity shop window design as part of the Charity Shop Challenge – being run as part of the Croydon Fashion Festival this year.

The idea behind the project is to create eye catching window designs raising the exposure of the charity shops using quality products that can be obtained in store.

Using recycling and eco sustainability is also encouraged.
