A 14-year-old boy seriously injured during a robbery in Tooting last night is said to be in a stable but critical condition, following surgery.
Police were called to a south London hospital at 9.55pm last night where the boy, who has not been identified, had been admitted with serious head and internal injuries.
According to police the boy had earlier that evening been robbed and assaulted by a group of youths on the recreation ground in Chillerton Road.
He is now said to be in a stable but critical condition following surgery.
