Ever wondered why the roadworks outside Sutton station are taking such a long time to complete?
Construction workers are not renowned for working as hard as some professions and are possibly prone to the odd tea or cigarette break.
But perhaps the above photograph, taken on Monday morning by a reader, can throw some light on the situation.
The reader said: "I was walking down Sutton High Street to the bank when all of a sudden I came across two men who had nested on the pavement, laying on what can only be described as makeshift blankets doing a spot of sunbathing.
“I couldn't believe my eyes. It was almost as if they were oblivious to their natural surroundings of people going about their daily business."
