Four Crystal Palace youngsters have been told they will not be offered professional deals this summer.
Second year academy scholars Jack Randall, Joe Goldsmith, Kieran Kenlock and Taurean McDonald-Roberts, who is currently on loan at Croydon Athletic, will all be released.
Left back Matt Parsons though joins Jerry Nnamani, Jack Holland and Charlie Holness in being offered a one-year contract.
Academy coach Gary Isott said: "Matt has done very well this season.
"He had a stop start first year but in his second year he held down a regular spot in the academy and reserve sides and his game has improved.
"The other players had done particularly well up until Christmas but you have to be sure they will be wanted next year and unfortunately they did not carry on to match the criteria."
