A controversial traffic improvement scheme that saw 1000 sq m of Herne Hill parkland lost to build a slip road to eleviate congestion will finally be opened on Saturday.
The new slip road has been built in the past year between Norwood Road and Dulwich Road at the expense of land from Brockwell Park.
As a result a number of buses will also stop in different places because of the pedestrianisation of the southern stretch of Railton Road.
