Paul Hart has urged Crystal Palace fans not to expect too much too soon from teenager Wilfred Zaha after the 17-year-old signed a two-year professional deal last week.
The youngster made his senior debut last month when he came off the bench against Cardiff City and impressed Hart enough to be included on the bench for the three games after that.
The Eagles manager was not getting too excited though.
"Having worked with young boys for a long time I don't get too excited nor too gloomy when things don't work out," he said.
"You have to give them time to blossom and though Wilfred has a lot of great attributes, he still has a lot to learn as well."
U16s Alex Wynter, Kyle Da Silva and Jon Williams have been offered three-year deals, while second year scholars Jerry Nnamani, Jack Holland and Charlie Holness have all been offered one year deals.
