Hounslow Wanderers slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Copland, in the shadow of an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, in their Middlesex County League clash on Saturday.
Wanderers went close after five minutes when a home defender cleared Mike Wilkinson’s header off the line, but the first half was goalless.
The crucial moment came in the 48th minute as Berty Williams gave Copland the lead and they held on for three points despite having a defender sent off for kicking Hounslow skipper Jas Sangha.
