Vandalism and the potential for fare-dodging are the two biggest concerns passengers have about the boroughs tram service, according to a survey undertaken by the Croydon and District Consumer Group.
Users who answered the survey believe the service is either understaffed or needs more security to stop vandals from damaging equipment.
Installing ticket machines onboard trams was another suggestion on how to combat the problem of fare-dodging.
Passengers believe the reason people hop on board without paying is down to the fact ticket machines are complicated and time-consuming to use.
Overall, the tram service was given the thumbs-up by users who responded to the survey.
