Time is running out for wannabe superstars who would like to try their luck in this years Croydon Music Festival.
From 101 entrants in 1990, the profile and size of the festival, which started in 1912, has risen to a cast of thousands, with more sections now available than ever before.
Entrants now come from all over the south-east to take part as well as from Ireland and further afield. The festival aims to help raise the quality of the amateur arts. Festival dates for music, speech and drama are April 27 to May 20, with the dance festival running from May 27 to June 2.
