On bank holiday Monday I decided to stay at home and tidy up my garage. Being a conscientious citizen I am now into recycling so I separated out all the bits and drove to Purley Recycling Centre.
I could recycle wood, bricks and cement but not plaster board. That had to go to Factory Lane how daft!
Purley to Factory Lane on a bank holiday? Forget it. What about the extra pollution to get there? Can I get there in the week? No, because I have to work.
Now here's a radical idea why not have a skip for the rubbish that is not recyclable?
