May 4, 2006. Ecover. With ecological and ethical living so high on the news agenda, London Sustainability Week 2006, in association with Ecover, the UK's favourite ecological cleaning brand, (4th and 18th of June) promises to be one of the biggest and best yet.

LSW 2006 will feature events such as allotment open days, river festivals and even the London Naked Bike Ride, and guarantees something inspirational and fun for those living in, or visiting, the capital.

Ecover will be on-hand across a number of the main events including; the MAD show at Earls Court between June 2nd and 4th, Camden Greenfair on June 4th and West London Green Festival June 18th.

Clare Allman, Marketing Manager for Ecover UK will be running a seminar at MAD on Saturday 3rd June called How green is your home'. This event will be dedicated to inspiring attendees to take the next steps to have healthier and more ecological homes.

Ecover will be handing visitors empty washing up liquid bottles with a voucher that entitles the recipient to a discounted refill at a local stockist. Ecover's refill programme is one of the largest in the UK and encourages reuse of its packaging to reduce waste.

"By being part of London Sustainability Week we can support lots of different, dynamic and inspirational projects that help Londoners take small steps to make a big difference," says Clare Allman.

Ecover was recently voted the Most Socially Responsible Brand in a Readers Digest survey*. Ecover Laundry powders received a maximum 5 out of 5, beating other well known, international ethical organisations.
