Did anyone see the Teletubbies a few weeks ago?
What have the Teletubbies got to do with trams you may ask. Well it would have educated a lot of people about travelling peacefully with your children!
One particular insert in this programme was about a child's father driving a tram in Manchester.
Apart from the partner and daughter do you know who else were passengers? A mother with children in a double buggy!
For those who don't want trams, you've probably got a car but what about people who like me don't want a car, or for those who cannot afford cars?
We travel by bus and trains and although many people offer to help us with our folded buggies and our children and bags, many people just watch us struggle by ourselves.
We wouldn't have to do this with trams. We could just wheel our children on . I'm only sorry my children will be walking by the time Tramlink is in operation.
I'd like the trams now please!
