Schools and churches are taking part in a special Easter project at Fairfield Concert Hall on Wednesday, April 5, at 7.30pm.
A year ago the community was invited to take part in David Palmers's oratorio, The Son of Man, the follow up to his legendary Holy Boy. The production now involves 250 people. It is a fully staged presentation of the Easter story and is full of momentous music and is charged with dynamic performances from the actors interpreting the emotional, tragic and triumphant story of Christ's passion and resurrection.
Schools involved are Coloma and Regina Coeli. The musical director is Norma Carroll. Any profits from the production will be donated to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton. Tickets are from £10 to £14 from Fairfield box office on 020 8688 9291.
