GRAVESEND 5
PURLEY JOHN FISHER 33
PJFs promotion push gained speed on Saturday with victory over Gravesend.
With the wind assisting them in the first half, PJF amassed 26 points and looked good value for a handsome win. Tries by McNally, Vaughan and a brace by winger Owen proved that PJF had the quality to win the match.
Vaughan slotted four conversions to round off a solid personal performance.
PJF need to win their two remaining games of the season and hope that league leaders Tunbridge Wells slip up. Securing second place is a must to ensure a play-off against the second placed side in south-west three.
