A West Croydon day centre for refugees has been awarded a £4,000 grant after a hectic first year.
The centre at Spurgeon's Hall deals with up to 100 asylum-seekers every time it opens, on Tuesdays from 10.30am-2pm.
The cash has been awarded by the Westminster Diocese Refugee Service and the London Borough Grants Unit.
