New Amen Corner relive the Summer of Love, 1967, when they play an exclusive show at the Boom Boom Club.
The original Amen Corner were one of the biggest influences on the 60s pop scene to ever come out of Wales. A mixture of mod, psychedelic pop, with heavy horns, swirling Hammond organ, the distinctive voice of Andy Fairweather-Low and their power house live show made them one of the most exciting bands around at the time.
With hits like Bend Me Shape Me, If Paradise Is Half as Nice and Hello Suzie they became a household name. Over the years there have been many requests for the band to reform but due to circumstances this will unfortunately never happen. However, as a result of a long standing friendship between sax man Frogman Curtis and Alan Jones (one of the original members) the New Amen Corner has been formed to keep the memory and music alive of this legendary band.
