The owners of two dogs believed to have been stolen when their motor home was broken into as they visited a sick relative are desperate to find their beloved pooches.
Denis and Viv Pook, who live in Wales, had rushed to visit Viv's ill brother in Mayday Hospital on Tuesday, July 19. They took their eight-year-old and 10-year-old Yorkshire terriers with them and drove to Croydon.
The next day the couple parked their motor home in Lodge Road, Croydon, and left the dogs for about an hour. Thieves broke into the vehicle, which was alarmed, and stole a television and it is believed they also took the couple's pets. The distraught owners spent several hours walking around the area searching for their dogs but had no luck.
Anyone with information should call Viv or Denis on 07901 913697 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
