They may not have impressed the judges on the ITV talent show the X-Factor but that hasn't stopped a group of wannabe pop stars from making their own record.
The group, who have called themselves X-Factor Fab Rejects, decided to record the song at Croydon's Scream Studios after making contact with each other on an X-Factor forum message board.
The rejected contestants, headed by West Norwood singer Debbie Elthalion, aka DebEspace, spent last Wednesday recording the Hit Me Rejects song at the studios in South End. The X-Factor Fab Rejects hope to perform their song live on the show when it is aired later this year.
