In light of recent sporting events at Wimbledon, tennis for two weeks of the year goes through a boom.
However, for the youth of New Addington this is not the case. The unmaintained tennis courts at Milne Park are the perfect example of neglect that is suffered by younger people and, in this case, tennis lovers.
I know derelict tennis courts are a frequent site in urban London as vandalism prospers but surely some investment is needed.
I urge Croydon Council to invest some money into a face-lift' and the rewards will be extensive to many. The recent hard pitch at Milne Park was a huge success.
