Trinity School's U11s brought to an end Elmhurst's run of nine consecutive victories when they lifted the Croydon Schools' Cricket Association's Primary League Foss Cup for the first time at Addiscombe Cricket Club last week.
Trinity elected to bat and posted a challenging total of 144-5. Elmhurst made a spirited reply but Trinity clinched their first win, by 14 runs.
The U11s take on Redbridge Schools in the London Schools' Cricket Association's Hansford Trophy final at Alleyns School, Townley Road, Dulwich this Saturday, at 10am.
Whitgift School's U13s won the English Schools' Cricket Association's David English/ Bunbury Cup at Oundle School this Thursday, with an exciting two wickets win.
