Little Hannah Olateju experienced the star treatment last Wednesday when she was made VIP for the day after winning a competition.
As part of her VIP day Hannah officially opened the new-look Woolworths store in North End watched by proud mum Rebecca and store manager Dave Cole.
Hannah astounded doctors when she pulled through the most severe strain of meningitis, meningococcal septicaemia in February 2002. But the disease was so serious, surgeons had to remove her legs at the knees and also her hands.
The North End store was closed for a week while it underwent a revamp to bring in new and extended ranges across a number of departments.
