It didn't rain to the relief of the organisers, making this year's Waddon Festival a great success.
More than 2,000 people watched the parade as it snaked its way through Waddon to Duppas Hill recreation ground on Saturday.
And there was plenty there to entertain the crowds with a fun fair, jugglers, stalls and bands performing on stage.
Kicking the festival off on Friday was a night of live music featuring a swing band and the performance of a children's choir made up of pupils from Duppas Junior and Howard Primary schools.
They performed a song written by the festival's music director Craig Murdoch about the wartime evacuation of children.
