A group dedicated to raising extra money for Croydon’s libraries is holding a series of summer events.
Friends of Croydon Libraries (FCL) has arranged for children’s services manager Margaret Fraser to speak on children’s libraries in Croydon at 10.30am next Tuesday at Selsdon Library.
In June novelist Margaret Drabble will be speaking at the Clocktower, Katharine Street, while Saga magazine’s Katharine Whitehorn will be speaking in July.
Talks will cost £9 but other events are free.
