We would like to thank all those who supported the Royal Marsden cancer campaign during our collection at the Whitgift Centre, Croydon, on Saturday, December 4.
Never before have we raised such an extraordinary sum and words cannot express how grateful we are to all those who made a donation.
We were overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity that was shown to us on the day and I am delighted to announce that we collected a staggering £4,947.70.
We have already raised more than £15.4million towards our target of £30million in aid of the Royal Marsden Hospital, but there is still a long way to go.
So we are relying on everyone's continued support to help make an extraordinary difference in the fight against cancer.
Merry Christmas to everyone and we look forward to successful fundraising for 2005.
