I read with interest the letter sent to you by Dr Enetia Robson (Guardian, December 8).
It would appear Dr Robson needs to open her eyes and see what a sorrowful state this Labour Government has brought about by its mismanagement of the economy.
Our pensions are in crises due to Gordon Brown creaming over £5billion a year in taxes from our pension providers.
Some companies can no longer afford to provide final pay schemes.
Immigration is out of control, hospitals and transport grinding to a halt and the list goes on and on.
Yet another council tax rise of five per cent is in the pipeline. When Labour came to power a band D council tax in Croydon was approximately £675. Now it stands at about £1,100.
I think people can make their own minds up as to whether we are better off under a Labour Government or not.
