Cobham 18
Purley John Fisher 30
PJF finished 2004 with a fine win at Cobham on Saturday which extended their second place lead to five points over the third-placed team and kept them in touch with league leaders Maidstone.
Hession opened the scoring for PJF when he touched down early on, which was shortly followed by a try from Scott Doyle.
Fisher then nailed a couple of penalties. In reply Cobham's winger scored a blistering try.
After the break, Doyle took full advantage of his opposition's sin-binning for interfering at the base of the scrum, by pouncing on a loose balls to score his second try.
Then, after a passage of quick re-cycled ball Fisher sent Hession free through the middle, the centre's intelligent run drew the defence and he freed his winger to cross the line.
Cobham bagged a consolation try late on, but PJF had already done enough to seal the points.
