Saturday's fete at Canterbury Community Centre, Canterbury Road, was organised by Sure Start for Broad Green, an organisation seeking to promote healthy development for children under five.
Councillor Louisa Woodley, cabinet member for education and lifelong learning, said: "We believe everyone should be given as equal chance as possible to succeed by having a good start life."
