This year, Lampton School (Hounslow), celebrates 50 years of education on the site.
The school was once known as Spring Grove Grammar before being converted into a comprehensive. A lot has happened in 50 years; it gained its Humanities Specialist status in 2003, a designation which enabled the building of the Language and Learning Zone (LLZ), a multi-media and ICT suite; obtaining an outstanding in the last OFSTED inspection. To help us mark the anniversary, the school are having a 1950’s themed day of teaching and learning activities on 25th March.
In addition to this, there will be an exhibition of school artefacts, as well as offering guided tours during the day, and a major celebration in the evening.
Past students, teachers, or just anyone in general are invited to join the festivities!
