A champion of English folk music is performing at the Ram Club in Thames Ditton on Friday, March 5.

Pete Coe, who is known to tell a good joke, will entertain the crowd with his songs performed on the melodeon, banjo and bouzouki.

On Friday, March 12, the club will welcome Steve Ashley, the only English folkie to get a record deal with legendary label Tamla Motown.

Ashley recently re-released his back catalogue, including the award-winning Stroll On album, and the audience should expect to hear songs dealing with issues such as the environment and war.
