A mass seed swap takes place in Kingston on Saturday, March 6, to encourage people to go green and get gardening.
Seedy Saturday was so successful last year that organisers have moved it to Kingston’s Market House, to fit it all in.
There will be a variety of seeds to swap for a small donation, as well as information on organic growing, permaculture displays and workshops.
The event, on from 1pm to 4pm, will also have activities for children and a range of stalls with crafts, books and cards.
Event organiser Cath Mukhopadhyay said: “It’s a great opportunity to share surplus seeds, get some new and interesting varieties and find out more about what’s happening in Kingston’s local gardening community.”
