Delegates at the Elmbridge Women in Business (www.ewib.co.uk) meeting on Tuesday 9 March at 6.30pm will learn how to make sure their web site appears on page one of Google without paying for advertising.
This will be just one of the jargon-free tips Walton-based marketing and web consultant Anneve Hutchinson will be sharing at the meeting to be held at The Ship Hotel, Monument Green, Weybridge, KT13 8BQ. What’s more, Anneve will be giving away a free five page web site package on the night. Her talk will cover how to convert site lookers into buyers; communicate with your customers cost effectively and a simple no cost way to start an online shop.
Anneve says: “Most of us know that having a website is a vital part of the marketing mix for any business. But making sure it’s found by the right visitors and then converting them into buyers can be tough. A website has less than seven seconds to catch the eye of a potential customer. If it doesn’t grab attention, hold it and then continue the conversation beyond that first visit it isn’t doing its job properly.”
